New Tabernacle Baptist Church

A Church Community Inspired To Make A Difference

February 2015

The month of February was an exciting month of worship, fellowship and service. It began with our annual Super Bowl Sunday. Members wore the jerseys of their favorite teams and Pastor Wright preached the gospel using football metaphors and analogies.

Beginning the Second Sunday our series of Black History salutes began.

On February 8th Brian Reed chair a salute to veteran police officers. We were favored with an inspirational speech by Agent Mario Martin, of the FBI. Mario grew up in our congregation. It was such a joy to hear words of encouragement from him.

Mario Martin was the speakerJames Ratcliff, Jr. was a presenter in the men's heritage salute
