    March 1, 2015- We celebrated African-American Heritage Month with a salute to barbers and beauticians. Several local cosmetologists were honored in the program that was coordinated by Sister Cassandra Davis. Pastor Wright preached from the subject "Beauty's only skin deep."

    March 8, 2015- Today at worship we heard a inspiringMarlon Rolland gave his testimony Sunday testimony from Brother Marlon Rolland who was involved in an automobile accident three days earlier. Brother Rolland's car hit a patch of black ice on the Interstate during the snow storm and tossed his car into the air and flipped it four times. He walked away without an injury or even a scratch. His car was totaled. He gave God the credit for  his delivery.

   The entire church gathered at the altar to pray specifically for Sister Jeanette Mitchell, who is ill and Brother James Lyons, who asked for prayer.

   Pastor Wright preached from the subject, "All he had was a stick."

   March 14, 2015-Today we had a spirit filled worship that featured several old time gospel hymns, a spirited worship, and an altar call. A brother McClinton, united with the church today as a candidate for Baptism. We were pleased to share worship with Sister Anita Thomas who was home from Texas. Also several members of the James family were home as well. Pastor Wright preached, "Living 

Mary Jones was hospitalized this week. The church prayed for her today

water does not come in a bottle."

  March 22, 2015-Today it rained slightly, but that did not stop our members from sharina spirited worship and bible lesson by Mrs. Ann Smith. There was a special altar for Mary Jones who has been hospitalized with suspected MS. Nearly the entire church surrounded the altar. Pastor Ro preached today. He told us not to be discouraged by troubles because they were precursors to blessings. How we handle small tests determine whether we are ready for larger blessings.
